I am excited to seek the opportunity to serve on the Doorify MLS Board of Directors. I have been a Realtor since 2008 and am the Broker/Owner an independent brokerage since 2016. During my career, I have experienced our industry from the perspective of both a practicing agent and a brokerage owner. That experience has given me a strong appreciation for just how important our MLS is in the day-to-day success of realtors and of the clients we serve.
My involvement in leadership has allowed me to see our industry from an even broader perspective. I was appointed to the Raleigh Regional Association of Board of Directors by the President in 2025 and am completing my two-year term. I served as Chair of the Realtor Giving Network in 2024, assisted with the relaunch of the Council for Independent Brokerages, and currently serve as an NC REALTORS Director. These experiences have reinforced something I strongly believe which is the best decisions are made when we have different voices and perspectives at the table.
As the owner of an independent brokerage, I would bring that perspective to the Doorify MLS Board. Independent firms often operate differently from large franchise and corporate brokerages, and it is important that MLS policies, technology, tools, and resources work for brokerages of every size and business model.
If elected, one of my priorities would be to help ensure Doorify continues to evolve alongside the realtors who use it every day. Technology is changing our industry quickly, but innovation is most valuable when it solves real problems. I want to be a voice for practical, user-focused decisions that make it easier for agents and brokers to access accurate information, serve their clients, run their businesses, and remain competitive.
I also believe strongly in protecting the quality and integrity of our MLS data. Consumers have access to more real estate information than ever before, making accurate, reliable and timely information increasingly important. Doorify has an opportunity to continue being not simply a database, but one of the most valuable professional resources available to its subscribers.
Doorify MLS plays an essential role in how thousands of real estate professionals conduct business every day. If elected, I will bring the perspective of a working Realtor, an independent brokerage owner, and an experienced leader to the Board. I will listen, ask thoughtful questions, advocate for our subscribers, and work collaboratively to ensure Doorify continues to innovate while remaining focused on what matters most: providing accurate data, valuable tools, and a strong MLS that helps its subscribers better serve their clients and build successful businesses.

I’m a native of New Orleans who’s called the Triangle home since 1989. I’ve been a full time Realtor since 2002 with over 700 closed homes in and around Chapel Hill, Carrboro, Durham and Pittsboro. A 2-time winner of Orange Chatham’s Realtor of the Year honors, and former renovation contractor, I bring a wealth of experience, house knowledge and a solid reputation to the table. An educator by degree I consider it my personal mission to teach as we go on every aspect of your home purchase and stewardship, building relationships with clients that quite literally span decades!
The Facts
Outside of work my passion involves our furry friends. I’m an avid animal lover and volunteer as well as board member of Paws4Ever Orange County’s no kill animal shelter. I also volunteer on the Education committee of our local Realtor Board. At home it’s just my partner Cat and I with our fur kids Tucker and Spenser.
